Eagle Scout Ribbon bars were issued between 1934 - 1946. The Ribbon Bars were later replaced by embroidered square knot patches starting in 1947. Over the years, the knot was produced with various background colors to match the different uniforms.
Ribbon Bar 1916 - 1919 (Dieges & Clust)
| Identification: The letters D&C are marked on the back. The ribbon is attached to the pin by a brass backing, whose ends wrap around the front of the pin. Later issue ribbon bar pins have the ribbon wrapped around the pin and sewn on the back side. |
