Distinguished Eagle
Eaglet Charms
The eaglet charm was introduced in 1969-1970 as part of the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award presentation kit. The eaglet charm has been one of the three pieces in the presentation kit throughout the years. All the eaglets below have “Full Feather Backs”. Showcased below are all the varieties produced based on the manufacturer’s hallmarks, precious metal content, and design.
I am aware of 23 different Hallmark backings to the Eaglet Charms. The Hallmark can be found on the back side of the charm. If you have a Hallmark that I am missing, or know of a different variety please contact me. I can either purchase it from you or trade you for a different DESA item.
